The future of report writing

At the start of the course, we heard from Professor Mike Hounslow who described how he wrote his first technical reports in biro on a pad of paper. Although technology has changed over the years, Mike explained that the conventions he used have remained constant throughout his career.

Thinking back over the advice that you have heard about writing technical engineering reports, which bits do you think will remain the same, and what do you think will change in the future as technology and society develop?
